Gay Adam

I am an experienced Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) in a mainstream primary school with a specialism in dyslexia. I completed a postgraduate diploma in Dyslexia and Literacy through The Dyslexia Institute (University of York) in 2003, then worked as a specialist teacher and assessor for Dyslexia Action.  Since 2018 I have enjoyed being part of the supportive team at Ashford Dyslexia Centre.  From assessment to teaching I strive to break down barriers to learning by providing each child with the skills and strategies they need to succeed and flourish.  As a parent of children with dyslexia too, I am passionate about making a difference.
